It’s that time of the year again. Frantically searching for steak and hotdog coupons, pulling out the grill that you forgot to clean after your memorial day weekend, doing a quick weather check on the internet of how the day’s going to look, and while you’re on the computer, maybe a quick google search to check if the fire marshal is going to ruin yet another Independence Day for you.
Suddenly, you reminisce about that fateful July 4th many years ago. No, not the one where John Hancock signed his name in huge letters on the declaration. I’m talking about the one a few years back, where you decided it would be funny to experiment with a bottle rocket on the slippery concrete next to your pool. A fire truck, an ambulance, a new pool filter, a charred patio, a broken window, and 16 hours in the ER later, you realize how thankful you are for your insurance company.
Now every time you think of America and the 4th of July, it’s Grill, Bar-b-q, steaks, fireworks, and….did I renew my policy?
